Youtube creates another buzz-worthy contest

Ridley Scott seems to be awfully busy of late. Not only has he been working with Philips on their Cannes accredited “one script, several stories” film series project, he has teamed up with Youtube for a project titled Life In A Day. It is a user generated campaign that will take HD video submissions filmed on July 24th, and edit them to create a film that shows what that day looked like around the world. The final piece will be premiered at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival. Very exciting!
